Important customer update
15 Jan 2021 Luke Smith
I hope that you are all safe and well.
Following my last update, due to unforeseen family circumstances caused by COVID-19 it has been necessary for me to temporarily close the business. I will unfortunately need to remain closed until the end of January.
I will be re-opening in February to work through the postponed bookings from January but will need to reduce my operating hours and capacity due to childcare responsibilities.
That coupled with the current increased risk due to the rise in COVID infections and the new variant means that I have unfortunately had to take the decision to postpone all routine annual boiler services for the time being. I will need to prioritise the rescheduling of urgent boiler and heating installations as well as existing customers experiencing boiler breakdowns.
I am hoping that I will be able to increase my working hours again from March onwards and start re-booking in services over a period of weeks.
For those of you who have Baxi boilers installed by me that are under warranty, Baxi are being extremely flexible about service schedules and are allowing engineers more time to complete annual services without this affecting the warranty.
I will of course contact all affected customers individually and will keep you all updated as soon as I am able to reschedule in these services.
Once again, I massively appreciate you supporting my independent local business and thank you all so much for your patience and understanding in these very strange times for us all.
