    Pricing

    We pride ourselves on a simple, honest pricing structure. Some of our work carries a fixed fee, some will depend on the make and model of your boiler or appliance and some jobs, such as bathroom or heating system installations will require an assessment and a quotation or estimate before any work is carried out.

    You can find our hourly rates for our technicians below under Repairs/General works.

    For larger projects, we will always quote you in advance before carrying out any work. If we need to make an initial visit to you to assess the work that needs doing or how best to do it before we quote you, there will be no charge for that.

    When choosing ACLJ, you will pay a fair and reasonable price for the work carried out.  Please note that all our prices are subject to VAT at 20%. You can see the including and excluding VAT prices below.

    Repairs / General works:

    First hour or part thereof: £60  (£50 + VAT)
    subsequent hours or part thereof: £54 (£45 + VAT)

    Fixed Price Services:

    Domestic Boiler Service*: £96 (£80 + VAT)

    Domestic Gas Safety Check*: £168 + (£140 + VAT) (includes main gas supply safety check and test/service of up to 3 appliances eg: boiler, fire, standard cooker/hob) 

    Landlords inspection / Certification*: £108* (£90 + VAT) (includes main gas supply safety check, boiler test/service and certification) 

    Landlords inspection additional appliances*: Service/test priced as follows:
    Gas fire – £36 (£30 + VAT)
    Gas cooker – £36 (£30 + VAT) (standard cooker/hob)
    Range cooker from £48 (£40+ VAT)  dependant on make/model.


    *All services and certifications are valid for 1 year. If your boiler or appliance requires repairing or any of its consumable parts need replacing, we will quote you for materials and additional labour before carrying out the work.
